The Sevillaner · Interview with Diario de Sevilla

As part of The Sevillaner, a project celebrating Seville through the work of contemporary illustrators, Anna Payan was selected to give an interview to Diario de Sevilla about her contribution to the project, cover number 28: Azahar.

Anna created an original illustrated piece for The Sevillaner, offering her own visual interpretation of Seville through her distinctive approach to storytelling, composition and colour.

Following her participation, the project selected Anna to speak with Diario de Sevilla about the illustration, giving her the opportunity to explain the concept and creative process behind the piece, as well as the ideas and references that shaped her representation of the city.

The resulting article, published by Diario de Sevilla, featured Anna and her work as part of its coverage of The Sevillaner, bringing her illustration and the story behind it to a wider local audience.

The feature highlights not only Anna's participation in the project, but also the conceptual thinking behind her work and the personal perspective she brings to illustrating the city she lives and works in.
