Petit Sàpiens is a Catalan children's magazine. The idea of this commission was to illustrate an article about Anna Comnena. The art director wanted illustrations with Byzantine-style traits but also maintaining my personality as an illustrator.
The result was these two double illustrated pages, with lots of magical touches as Anna was an incredible writer full of history.
